I had to get a medication for a stomach bacteria called C. diff. It has bad relapse rates and its best to get it in check asap. What my doctor prescibed was the newest/best antibiotic for the issue, the other have worse recovery rates

I sort of find telemedicine to a be a scam. I’m sure it has its use case, but most of the time it feels like they are trying to limit liability so they just tell you to go see a doctor in person.

If the modified will be open-source would you be willing to outline goals of the project on github or gitlab? I'd be happy to take a look. been a while since I've done PCB work I mostly do asic/fpga design now, but depending

Carbon steel pans / stainless steel pans are also an option. Switched to carbon steel a couple years ago and haven’t looked back. Sometimes it’s a little more difficult, but once you get the technique down it’s as easy as non stick. It

I think this is actually superior to autossh. Doesn’t autossh not restart after crash/reboot?

Check out the stats on apples margins on hardware vs their services and software ;) And arguably most of these companies (minus Apple and nvidia) have software and services as their bread and butter, not hardware.

Ya it’s simple economics unfortunately (I’m a hardware engineer). Software can pay more because the cost to produce is lower and so the margins are higher. Hardware has abysmal margins - design, r&d, failure, debugging, schedule push ba

What? We are talking about a major IC designer/manufacturer not gateway desktop computers from 1999. Theres still tons of money to be made in chips - the whole world runs on them. but the cost is in the multi-multi-billion dollar r&

Im a signal processing engineer by day focusing in comms. That is to say, I think radio is really exciting. I recently got my ham license for fun and boy is it fucking boring. It’s just a bunch of old dudes talking about where they are driv

Really well done! I also love the design of your website, is it a boilerplate/template or did you design it yourself? Is this the same sensor as the rpi hq cam? Would be cool to have interchangeable lenses on this, but that might make

I was going through all the alternative HDLs the other day to see what’s out there. So many one off projects to appeal to this language or that language, but none solving real problems in the space. The problem? Modeling large systems with

same I’ve tried to use flux multiple times and there’s just not an intuitive thing about it. I could barely draw a schematic. I should add that I’m somewhat experienced as well. I’ve successfully designed 6 layer boards with blind via, BGAs

I was thinking the same thing (I'm an EE by day). I think this idea is very cool, but since the dawn of time schematics and PCB layout have always been visual because you are actually building a physical thing. Its easy to see hardware

PPIs do the same thing - suppress acid. That suppression of acid makes you vulnerable to bacteria like c diff. Long term use of PPIs is also linked to dementia.

weird coincidence - I just had C diff. I was healthy before it, had not taken antibiotics in years, so I suspect what caused my c diff was years and years of taking pepcid. Long term antacid use are one suspected cause of c diff. Doctors li

The knob is a UI/UX disaster itself. A digital system that literally requires you to look at the screen instead of the road to access nested after nested menu items.

I don’t think that’s a valid comparison. Landlines and mobile solve two different problems and were probably about the same price. If a subscription to a car costs you as much as owning a car over a long period of time, why subscribe ?

It’s not like it’s free once it’s solved. you will subscribe to it and pay probably some fraction of a car payment for life.

Out of all the tech problems to solve, driverless cars or driverless taxis has always baffled me. It’s a very complex thing to solve with a zillion edge cases. And for what net gain? What incredible inconvenience are we trying to solve? Lac

same. very confused how this made it to the front page - it sounds like just a classic run of the mill scam. nothing particularly novel here. nothing remotely more sophisticated or harder to detect.

Just because there are rules doesn’t mean they make sense in context. This doesn’t serve ARMs best interest nor Azeria. It’s a lose lose. Maybe it was automatically triggered, but I guess the point is a lot of things in the world are some

Interesting, but i'd really like to see some figures on fast food growth in the 70s onwards. Not only growth in fast food, but some sort of metric of quality of ingredients (probably doesnt exist).

Happy to work with low traffic blogs and any sort of website or service where ads can be displayed. Especially if there is growth potential. Open to chat if interested - feel free to email: hardwareteams at gmail

I’m working on starting an ad-not-so-tech business. Fixed number of ad slots per month, fixed price per slot, and advertised on a network of high traffic blogs (also fixed with an upper bound in terms of # of blogs allowed on the network).
