Imagine posting this article and claiming this is communism. Another gem from this site: This website is best viewed with proper web browsers such as Lynx or Elinks. C'mon. Don't make us Anti-DRM people look like utter lunatics.

As an EU citizen, the US response to COVID-19 really is laughable. It's just that a lot of people die due to this ideological "but muh freedom" mentality.

Projects like these were doomed from the beginning. Buy a real Linux phone, like the PinePhone or the Librem 5 + a backup phone (I’m on Apple for that) for the proprietary nonsense. Simple, straight-forward and clean. It’s time to stop hack

Godot is really good. Loving the games that have been created with it so far.

If you're starting with WebDev in 2020, choose Go or Rust. Concurrency & safety + simple deployable static ELF binaries > weak typing and legacy bloat.

Nah. The JVM must go; we have Docker and the universal platform are Linux ELF binaries so the entire "bytecode" concept makes sense for the compiler (i.e. LLVM), but no longer at runtime. It's just bloat.

It's not a choice. All of my friends, coworkers and family are on proprietary platforms with no way outward; what you call "choice" is really just an illusion of choice if we're being honest to ourselves.

Just prepend `!g` if you use DuckDuckGo and want to have a Google result. It's super simple ;)

The best thing about Jitsi IMHO is that it scales so well. After having problems with Nextcloud Talk, I just wrote a chat bot that returns Jitsi links (see my GitHub if you’re interested) et voilà 100+ people in one conference!

I don't even categorize what I own; my list is a simple .txt with newlines between "categories", but I don't even name the latter anymore. I've done a lot more (cost, categories etc.) but nowadays I just ... keep it

As someone who identified as a minimalist until a while back, I’d argue that the primary lesson I’ve learned from it is not necessary to thrive for the minimal possible amount of items, but to _keep track_ of the things you own. I do for ex

Jitsi has really been kicking it at my school lately; I wrote a chat bot for out Nextcloud that creates meetings and now up to 150 people can easily join into one conversation!

Godot is an awesome engine and I recommend everyone still using the ancient ones like Unreal and Unity to switch to it, at least on new projects. You can script it in pretty much whatever language you want.

Now open source GitHub! It is such a hypocritical stance to talk about how great FLOSS is while at the same time not producing the product itself as FLOSS.

Awesome to se the startup mentality arrive in space engineering! Those cheap rockets would be great for deploying things like CubeSats.
