I agree, we are big lego/duplo fans in my family as well. Just a little safety warning that old legos, especially 70s (and older I guess) can contain toxics in the colors like cadmium. I am not qualified to say how large a risk that po

Manhattan is one of the most expensive places in the world. I would guess most ppl are not really aspiring for that. I would guess that the problem for a lot of people is to continue being able to live in their medium sized city where they

Yeah, I don't disagree on why the marketing is needed. I still think it shows something broken about our system when the majority of the time is spent marketing and not producing the product and supporting the customers. In the same wa

I’m with you on the last two but a life without timezones sounds horrible. So many issues, like having to relearn the clock when you are in another timezone. I’ll meet you for lunch at 06.00! Life is based around the sun. Having some sort o

You don’t think there is anything broken when 3/5 parts of the project budget should be marketing and only 1/5 in creating the product? I’ve worked in advertising and I think that sounds broken.

Interesting but why do you think this would be close to ASMR? For me it sounds cognitively like very different processes. Isn’t ASMR closer to something like synesthesia. With dreaming and falling in and out of sleep we are talking about di

iPod is bad how? It is short, looks good typographically, it is unique, easy to remember, easy to pronounce even for non native speakers. Do you mean that it is not descriptive? In that case, that does not matter.

I don’t think anyone has said that Apple never used bad names…? But I don’t think it is radical to say (atleast among us who works with branding) that ipod, mac, powerbook, macbook, itunes, airpods, etc. are strong names.

On the short term that sounds about right. Still I would guess that if the EU and US relations would go from more of a culture friendship to a strict transactional nature that would have big consequences. The EU would try to be more self su

Enormous regressions? I could agree on “not great” but that was strong words. Haven’t really had a lot of trouble with the updates. I would say that macos 2014 and 2022 have a lot more in common than 2014 macos and current linux.
