For me it sounds like the researchers are saying: we are so cool now we can tease you all we want because we can have 10 investors just by snapping our fingers. Sounds a little like a childish revenge after years of crawling for funding. I&

Engineering simulators are used for this purpose, I have worked on them, and seen them being used precisely for trying to find unexpected system behaviors under sensor or other subsystem failures (valves, computers, motors, power,...). This

My bet is that is not really about audio quality, but because in order to understand speech you need to fully understand the language. Try to write down something you hear in a foreign language. As someone who has learnt English as a foreig

You can have an accident if you drive while being drunk. The fact that most of the time there is no accident doesn't mean that it's not dangerous. Sometimes it looks like we take economic and political decisions similarly.

I started to read the article but after reading some paragraphs it still continues spreading mistrust about scientists. This is a very bad indicator in my experience. I think there was some article about it here some time ago, since we cann

A race condition I guess. At least we didn't try to drink at the same time. For the record I usually write functional code. Let me put another example instead of coffee. If I have a differential equation, "dx/dt=f(x,t)",

I have a cup of coffee, if I drink a little I don't think a new cup of coffee with less coffee has been created, just that the old one is different. There are some times where imperative thinking seems more natural.

My own experience is that carse indicate something like 10% more speed than the real one. You can check that with a GPS, which gives very precise speed measurements. So maybe 9mph excesive speed will not trigger any radar.
