Author and publication bias aside… I don’t find the author persuasive at all. It’s saying misused equipment and poorly supported logistics result in subpar performance. That’s like… any weapons systems. Look how the Russian tanks got decima

Not a doctor fwiw, but elevated ALT and AST levels often comes with being overweight and that could be seen as liver damage. I'm willing to give MS the benefit of the doubt on this claim.

You have to consider the fact that most airports were built pre-9/11. The architectural constraints of the airport means long lines are unavoidable if you need to scan people and carry-on luggages for things like metal and sharp objec

As a frequent traveler (80 flights alone last year), I feel like this bill is rather useless. First, Clear is not present at all airports. Sometimes it's not even available at all terminals of the same airport (see JFK terminal 7 2 yea

Thanks for the cordial dialogue. >I mean ideally the idea of price and school for the first 2 or 4 years wasn't even a conversation, but clearly we are not ready for that What do you mean by this? I don't think I quite follow.

I should clarify. When I say "rewarding bad behavior" I mean it further incentivizes the universities to keep raising prices, faster. There are myriad of reasons why college costs goes up but the biggest driver is the inelasticity

Incremental solution is absolutely fine. The problem is that is genuinely 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards. It provides immediate relief for the cohort who qualify but others who don't have to pay for them and rewards bad behavior fro

I'm all for making education more accessible but this isn't it. It only keeps kicking the can down the road and signals to lenders that borrowers have higher capacity to borrow and thus will inflate the prices of higher education.

My condolences. It's crazy how much the dollar will take you in Japan. I'm getting meals at Co Co Ichibanya that would run me $30 in Koreantown LA for $6 here.

Do you mean never use your phone number as 2FA if other 2FA options are not available? Most major retail banks (BofA, Chase, Citi, etc) all offer mobile as the only, if not primary, 2FA option.

This bit rings true for me: "What I learnt from my personal experience is this: when you push back, people respect you more, not less." It also reminds me of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qD6uMxnYE9s
