The free market healthcare system in the USA worked great up until regulations pushing out mutual aid societies completely changed it. Costs were affordable for everyone. http://freenation.org/a/f12l3.html

T-Mobile Money offers a 1% checking account and saving account. Both FDIC insured. I'm not exactly sure how they can afford this, or how long it will last, but it's the highest rate account I've found so far, and you don'

Right my point is that IntoIterator should not just mean "this can be iterated over". It should instead mean "this owned type can be converted into an iterator of its elements".

I have no idea what you mean by this. Currently the following impls exist: (1) `Vec<T>`, `HashMap<T>` (2) `&[T]` (equiv to `slice.iter()`), `&HashMap<T>` (equiv to `map.iter()`) (3) `&mut [T]` (equiv to `slice.

The whole IntoIterator for arrays issue was that there was existing code using IntoIterator of the slice deref, which was incompatible with an array IntoIterator impl that would take precedence. A compiler hack was introduced to hide the ar

On the IntoIterator topic: I do think it was a mistake to `impl IntoIterator for &[mut] T` for the collections. I think it would have been better to just standardize on `.iter[_mut]()` instead. Would have avoided the whole "IntoIte

Yeah I'd suspect slowly charging up a battery with the bike generator and then quickly discharging the battery to boil the water would be quite a bit more efficient.

Many LED bulbs are a simple diode rectifier circuit, essentially with a bunch of LEDs stacked to add up to a total 120V bias voltage. These will blink at 60Hz or 120Hz depending of if they implement a half-wave or full-wave. More complicate

Yes, switching power supplies can be used to go from AC to DC, but those are not inverters. They're a form of active rectifier. Perhaps you learned it differently, but according to any source I can find, they're defined as I said.

You could technically do this with Rust. rust-analyzer will allow you to jump to certain types, functions, etc, and Rust has first-class modules.

My 2004 Ford Escape won't let me lock or unlock the car with the key fob if the engine is running. So I can't warm it up in the morning without either risking it being driven away or having an extra door key for just that purpose.
