In the past I've done stuff like not pushing until the end of the day/coding session. Usually though I just end up committing and pushing immediately and then realizing I need to amend something and make a note to rebase later(I t

This wouldn't be possible in a practical sense. One could imagine a static analyzer of some kind which infers all lifetimes, though that would likely quickly be unworkably slow on real codebases, since you need to infer programmer inte

The problem fat pointer based implementations are massively slower. Rust aims to provide safety without massive performance penalties. If one wanted safety without performance they would just use java or similar.

Notice how you've changed the OPs concern about free speech to a concern about "misinformation".

I don't know if you know but 20 odd years ago what was called AI at universities was SMT/prolog etc. People where doing stuff like expressing common sense facts in logic and using programs to derive more common sense.

Anecdotally it worked for me on mobile. Perhaps your using some kind of Facebook container on Firefox which breaks the referrer somehow?

Whilst I agree that this makes little to no difference to the average user, it is slightly different. One can sue Google/MS. Google/MS likely already have all your data already while these randoms probably don't. Google/

The core problem here is that so much value is tied up in houses. People view houses as an investment. If houses depreciated like cars then people aren't so concerned about the value of there house b/c it won't make or break

I would guess it's actually the 737 or a320. Long haul flights are significantly less common.

Not the op but sure. No sources for any of the many claims in the article. No references to studies. No number based claims such as "9 out of 10 times x happens"...

737's are usually used as short haul planes, while a 747 is typically long haul. You would expect a long haul plane to spend more time in cruise relative to climb, so the fuel consumption numbers could be quite different.

Here are some facts: https://nces.ed.gov/naal/kf_demographics.asp#3 , about 14% of adults in the US in 2003 had little to no reading skills.

Surely they way most gcs achieve this is by asking you to tell the gc when you aquire a reference to an object, and tell it again when you no longer need it. You could do that with a custom implementation of drop in rust.
