Do people who write these things really think these are novel concepts? The amount of arrogance and delusion required to state the obvious is hard to comprehend.

Completely unnecessary, a lot of adults had a chance to stop and think but they didn’t. How about we don’t hold 10-year old 4-H members to contracts (pretty sure they can’t anyway). Why are Sheriff deputies jumping on a case like this. May

Should the link be updated to the actual source? This gist appears to just be a copy of https://infiniteundo.com/post/25326999628/falsehoods-program... and https://infiniteundo.com/post/255093

> Microsoft Edge is Windows-exclusive of course No, no it is not. When an article gets something so easy to check so wrong, it's difficult to believe anything else in it.

Yeesh, so many comments here take things so seriously. It’s like gallows humor, errors suck so why not add a little levity.

People should use Wirecutter and CR to find a list of products that they'll probably be happy with. The expectation that they can identify the absolute best product for everyone is impossible and this article/discussion is probab

This is infuriating. How does it get to seventeen days in jail without talking to a lawyer? It was probably some COVID thing, but that's just not right. AA needs to pay. First thought is some overly enthusiastic AA security person goin

I disagree, the PR is some pointless wordsmithing and then to comment "Verify the pull request and merge asap" is a bit ridiculous. Also, no one is going to care in a day.

The real advantage is another layer of complexity, so you can write a blog post about running PiHole on a home network, which done by a billion other people (conservative estimate).

Well, I guess I don't need to wait for reviews anymore, I'll just count mouse buttons to know if it's a good laptop or not.

I like the idea of Vivaldi and honestly probably would use it, but I've been using Firefox as my primary browser for the last 7 years or so and just don't have a reason to switch. I also think competition is good and am concerned

This is pretty ridiculous and a manufactured scandal. I'm sure attempting to publicly shame a company into a job offer will turn out well. I don't even see the problem, a help article says to install a browser? If I blog about ho

I can. I'd still rather use Firefox than Chrome or Edge when it comes to privacy. "Firefox is dead ... Time to bury the putrid, rotting corpse" is ridiculously dramatic.

I recently reluctantly went back to the office and it was better than I had expected. Having that separation of work vs home was huge for me. I left work at work and didn't give it a second thought once I was home. I hadn't rea

Amazing how SQL injection is in the OWASP Top 10 for the last 20 years and then you see something like this. I understand it’s open source but I can’t fathom why the author would be ok with not having true parameterized queries.

Based on the uniforms mentioned, this was written between 2008-2011. There's some other clues as well, CD players, PS3, etc. Although, I wouldn't doubt that it's "current".

Do you see a lot of medevacs? The Geneva convention basically states that whomever the injured is in the care of is charged with giving them adequate care. If that care requires medevac it's going to happen. The protections accorded

Why would it be irresponsible? It's a matter the amount of traffic an airport gets. My guess is Europe's population density means less non towered aerodromes exist. There are many airports in the US, Canada, and elsewhere that rec
