I think Tibia players are fine with that. I play it with friends from time to time, the game is exciting in a way no modern title is, in my opinion.

That was some serious dirty laundry washing. Loved it! I tried Gitpod last year, but latency and gitpod.yaml were major issues.

I see where your are coming from, but I'm not convinced the alternatives are any better. The moment Meta fails to follow any local law, policimakers all over the world will scratch their heads and think about how that could happen in t

Why would Whatsapp have any principles besides following local laws? It's just trouble with no business gains.

Hey cool project, congrats! How does Rocketry saves execution state? Like, if it crashes and goes back up again, does it know which tasks were executed and which ones were not?

I was scratching my head, looking at the docs and asking myself "Ok do I need a database? Is the scheduler separated from workers? Does it have a UI?" Being just a lib is actually quite refreshing compared to complex behemoths lik

Great read. Anedotally I've tried Gitpod, Cloud9 and Codespaces. Latency issues were the major thing that turned me off from every platform. Also from a business pov, I've found most thin clients relatively expensive. so in the en

This sort of term is made up by c suites for c suites, arguing about semantics is rarely productive and I'm inclined to believe that's the case here. I also think this battle is lost as GH and others will always yeld to the needs

Do you own a internet provider? DNS servers? Chip manufacturer? Do you grow your own crops? You always need to rely on third parties for finance (even if you manage your own crypto wallet) and for other stuff in life.

The reason is nobody knows the correct rate to stop inflation and nobody wants to drive rates too much, as that also would have bad consequences.

Central banks kept printing money despite the existence of blockchains. There is an ongoing global inflation crisis as result. It seems no Blockchain was able to overcome fundamental scalability issues, which are key to actual adoption.
