In South America practically no one has even heard of Signal. The only known alternative to Whatsapp, which dominates society at all levels, is Telegram. I'm seeing a very minor move to it and it's based on the assumption that it&

Yes, it's definitely a luxury for many. I did find that setting up a dividing screen (made of basically hanging cloth) tricked my brain into believing a particular kind of one-room apartment was two, which helped a lot with keeping foc

Going a bit further, if at all possible, my tip from many years of remote work is don't even have a computer in the room you sleep in. It's amazing how much the brain correlates rooms with tasks, and if you work in your bedroom yo

I wouldn't say it's common, but this is the one forum where a considerable amount of people disable JS when browsing (and likely only whitelist few if any sites). It's always a good thing to support nonetheless, so please go

Worst offenders aren't even those. Some go as far as an 'Information not provided by developer', and the worst of them all - Netflix's 'You just worry about what to watch next.'. Irritates me to no end, I now o

I feel any party game that also intends to have mechanics prone to skill imbalances needs some built in, playtested method of handicapping. I don't mind playing (say) Super Smash with a total pro when we can easily agree that they have

Just FYI in case you care about this sort of stuff, there's a major eBay-like company in South America called MercadoLibre, that is commonly referred to as MeLi or simply Meli as well, and that also has the $MELI stock ticker. It'

My experience with all this is that each time I opened the Uber app, I actually did not know what I was going to find. Taking an Uber a few times a month meant finding new UX patterns every time, sometimes features would be there, sometimes

In many cases it is true, but the one legitimate use case is helping out in countries where monetary freedom is restricted. When the state forbids you to sell a currency that's permanently losing value due to unchecked inflation, being
