Thanks! Didn't know that. For anyone interested in this. Some quick google-fu revealed this to be correct [0] [1]. Blue light is not great for sleep, but there is no evidence for it being damaging to the eyes. [0] https://pu

1) Use Nighshift/Flux permanently on your device. Not just during the night. Helps reduce the amount of blue light you're exposed to. 2) Look away from the screen for a minute at least every 20 minutes. 3) Take a longer break and

Not sure about NPM, but Yarn, even v1 without PNP caches all packages and simply copies the package from the local cache into your `node_modules`. It doesn't do symlinks (PNP mode does) because this doesn't always work well and it

Shouldn't your employer provide you with a device or the means to work from home? Despite the ongoing crisis, your employer can't possibly force you to use your own devices. What if you had no personal laptop or desktop workstatio

I use tmux in kitty. I rarely have to scroll and when I do, I can certainely do without smooth scrolling. Usually I just use tmux to search and jump through the output. I was a heavy terminal user already but running macOS at work and linux

This sounds really cool! I've wished for something like this many times. I am mostly attracted by the fact that it would be mostly automatic. I am hoping it lives up to the hype. Signed up for the beta. All the best!

I dabbled with an idea similar to Fly.io's Heroku supercharging functionality (Turboku?). One issue I encountered is that the app in question does not benefit from full-page caching. Even if we deployed our app through Fly.io, we'

There are actually two ways to do Docker with Heroku. You can let Heroku build your image during the deployment phase by simply having a `Dockerfile` in your repository [1]. Or, you can build the image yourself on your CI service and push i
