while it is obvious my comment was hyperbolic, the underlying sentiment still stands regardless. I can be charitable only so far, not complaining that the drivers don't make my color image perfect on a vinyl postcard, not even complain

In my experience signing up to do it or not is irrelevant because I'll end up doing it anyway since they're my parents, so i'd rather have full easy remote teamviewer/ssh access to the stuff I know works and how it works

I don't think it's that bizarre when you think about it, shallow and silly reasoning for sure but it's not that weird nor does it seem to be some racist conspiracy or whatever. Talking about texas Is it really surprising US

All those things can be painlessly done with a vpn. I'm not saying people wouldn't have to change, but to affect the economy as gp is trying to make it sound well, doubt it would even make a rounding error.

I doubt it would mean much, you don't even need to self-host git just use gitlab, bitbucket, etc. Hobbyists and small projects would be the most affected but VPN's are a trivial solution for this demographic.

You'd be surprised, I myself know several and I have no interest in the hobby to be adjacent to their circles. Anecdotally it seems like MLP all over again, but even more skewed to the adult demographic, which does make a lot more sens

I think most people, ignoring the specifics, would consider making 100k/y from youtube a pretty good deal, but well there's the specifics. Let's not kid ourselves 100k/y is not a modest income, but surely he should be th

this is not a rationalization over what actually happened, that's a different discussion, but about current public sentiment over it. What drives the clickbait is exactly the inflammatory narratives and connections.
