No, it isn't; you can learn git internals in less the 60 mins. They are really simple. It's people's imagined model of how git works that is complicated so they assume git itself must also be complicated.

My apologies then; I thought you sounded like one of these gold standard fanatics that are all over. I couldn't find the essay on the web, but it's in the book https://www.amazon.com/Praise-Idleness-Other-Essays&#x

Oh, right, you think you know the answer already. Coincidentally, in the collection of essays "In Praise of Idleness" the fourth one is called, "The Modern Midas", written in 1932. You might enjoy it.

You wouldn't pay $25 for a clearly well executed 13th Century painting by the artist who taught Giotto, unless you knew other people would pay more? That comment isn't painting you in as good a light¹ as you might think. ¹Hah!

Ok, then I'll give you an analogy in return: Someone posts that they'd tried to join two strings in C++ and print the result. And they couldn't figure out how to do it; they would keep losing the second string. So, they gave

Yeah, I did oversimplify that. I guess I was really saying, that if your trees live for 100 years, say, it's not like the whole forest disappears once the 100 years are up. And, of course, if it's used for forestry, the trees will

Next time, could you get a video from someone who's actually seen a tree? That video was just awful. It's only redeeming feature was that it was short. Here's what he got wrong: 1. The mass of CO2 in the atmosphere is about
