Why do you think this reflects badly on him? He deleted some repositories that he made in his spare time? It wouldn't affect my decision to hire him negatively, and the experience that he demonstrated with the project is still a massiv

This is nonsense. Even if you do everything right, you can have bad luck. Illness can happen to anyone. Of course you can improve your odds, but acting like sickness is some sort of personal failing is a bad mentality, and one of the reason

In most mountain huts it’s instant which sucks. But where is this stigma that the only true coffee is espresso coming from ? I far prefer good filter.

The family get the joy of the work. It's worth noting that copyright here is only talking about the monetary legacy of the work. Value exists in many dimensions. There's also value in work that society owns.

Chrome is getting more and more user hostile. At the moment you can't inspect a site's certificate without going into developer tools. Terrible decisions, the developers should be ashamed.

The problem here isn't Everest, it's poverty. Nepal is a very poor country. As much as everyone likes to hate on the rich people climbing mountains, they miss the fact that without the mountain, the people would be even worse off.

There are other routes on Everest, they are just considerably harder and you won't be able to be dragged up them by a guide. Of course if you need to be dragged up by a guide you shouldn't be there to begin with.

What makes you think that? The world is smaller than people think - I don't see anything unlikely about this sort of outdoor gear making it to Kenya or Peru.

It's not double buffering - double buffering is just calculation into memory and then a memory update. VDOM is essentially calculating the buffer once in a scripting language, and then again in a fast way if necessary. Despite that, it

Remote work is a rounding error compared to the overall migration trends. Many jobs require presence, and this isn't going to change anytime soon.

Because the migration to cities has been a large proportion of the increase in productivity over the last few centuries. It is more efficient to have urbanised populations. Rural life is already over-subsidized by urban centers.

Of course, but pumped storage is about energy storage, not generation. It allows energy to be stored when generation is cheap, and then released at peak hours. It's remarkably efficient compared to most other storage systems.

Maybe I'm wrong, but the terminology isnt that clear. Path tracing is a sub field of Ray tracing - Ray tracing refers to the camera into scene Ray generation. What he describes as raytracing sounds like the whitted recursive algorithm.
