I'm not going to defend Amazon or capitalism as much as others in the comments, but Allbirds are fairly cheaply made shoe sold at a high price to well off tech workers or tech-adjacent workers. It was only a matter of time until someon

If it's not targeted at tech savvy users (even then, most tech savvy users wouldn't care) and you don't feel any moral/personal drive, don't bother.

Or you really can't do nothing, do a brain dump. Get a piece of paper and a pen, and write down everything that's on your mind: projects you want to do, things to take care of, people you want to hang out with, errands to run, etc

Last year and this summer Greece was the trendy vacation location for millennials aged 23-30, most of which work in the tech space and thus can afford such vacations (often in lieu of retirement plans/savings though).

Then turn notifications off. Depends on your workplace culture, but I receive no work-related notifications or emails after work hours and it's fine.

Kinda wish it was $200 more for 32GB of RAM instead of $400 - my only complaint.

This release is essentially a "we messed up, this is what you wanted all long", but they can't say that so they're using the regular MBP marketing talk. Not hating - I am getting this laptop.

I have a train commute via the NYC subway. I also try to avoid screens... with one exception. I mostly read paper books, if the book I am reading is comfortable to carry. If I can't read I'll listen to something - either a fun pod

It's a management problem. We have that "problem" where I work - the sprints and tickets are set up such that I can afford to work ~2-3 hours a day. I spend the rest learning new tech for my next job. I'm not even a hard

Personally if the internet is down my employer wouldn’t expect me to get any work done, so it doesn’t matter. Would be different if I was self employed though.
