Guessing this is the beginning of the end of podcasting being an open medium backed by RSS, at least for "big" shows.
- redisman 6y agoDefinitely. The more passive participants in this space (mainly Apple) have extremely deep pockets to start defending the amount of content on their platform. I wouldn't be surprised if the RSS method will be niche by next year and it's all walled gardens for the top 1000 podcasts.
