Have you considered changing jobs? Bad performance reviews 'never' go away. You also probably view your work negatively as it caused you to crunch for extended amount of time. By changing workplace you could also potentially open

Exactly my way of thinking. I do appreciate cryptocurrency innovations, but so many scams and frauds made it unappealing. I ignore almost everything related to crypto now. I think the breaking point for me was Ledger leak.

If I were to guess, their engineering is probably around 650 people. But I don't have any data to make this claim.

Its getting worse and worse. The gap between GPT-4 and GPT-3.5 is becoming narrower. This is making me reconsider if OpenAI paid plan is worth paying for.

It did happen multiple times. Usually Russians get better after 1 year of war. It seems the same thing is happening again.

Its extremely hard to argue for debuggability. I always try to prioritize how easy is it to test the said feature and understand it. However, during reviews of other engineers PR, I am always met with criticism that there is no need. "

It seems most of the code in the repository is just simple Scala. Codebase is easy to read and understand. I don't see any Typelevel stuff. This probably lets them hire and train engineers faster while still gaining most of the benefit

I've tried consumer Google Glasses once they were released. I was truly impressed. If I were to guess — camera & privacy concerns killed them. I see others say that its just another product Google killed. I have to disagree, >10

Conductor still needs to check the ticket itself. You would have to show your student/pensioner ID in addition to the ticket. Overhead of eligibility check is negligible in my opinion

Its a joke that people here seem not to get because I did not add /s at the end. Obviously there is no superiority, but its pretty clear that green bubble design makes it unpleasant to look at [1] [1] - https://uxdesign.cc&#

I think there is some truth to that. My parents went to eat out like once a year for quite a while. They saved as much as they could and succeeded at that.

I've noticed similar things as well. Especially in contexts where no observability is available as CCTVs or other people. People will behave badly if they can get away unpunished. I disagree with most of the other comments that its a q

First of all, all information I had was from the video. Author specifically circled "trafficking in drugs", not "possession" in warrant picture as a thing he clearly shows intent of admitting (at least in the song video)

Warrant picture shows 'trafficking in drugs', not making a song about weed. I am not sure about full context.

The author seems to admit that narcotics on warrant were justified (or at least logical). I am not sure what his expectation is. Aren't you risking years of jail because of that alone? Seems wildly irresponsible if he has family and ki

I did that from 3 different accounts. I've tried doing that on a phones with GPS on so the overlord might pick up that I am a local. But nothing works, I think I am 'shadow-banned' from edits now, because it says my edits are

Slightly off topic, but I get a lot of frustration from Google Maps. Waze works well for me, while GMaps don't. So seeing those two merge more is bad news for me. Google Maps is one of the services which actually does some minor damage

I bought two monitors which are matte: 4K 27", IPS, sRGB. Biggest complaint is how hazy/non-clear they look. I personally started to think glossy displays are superior, but I understand others have their own preferences.

I noticed: If I comment something about pro free speech, I get downvoted in the morning (I am on EU timezone). However, once friends in USA wake up - I get upvoted again.
