Yeah, Spotify and Tidal have terrible Uis. I'm testing deezer now and I find it a lot better.

Yeah, an apology isn't a substitute for an updated EULA. I will wait for the updated EULA before I re-evaluate my cancellation.

An apology posted on a blog is not a EULA. I've cancelled my account and I will to see if the terms in the EULA remain vague and general.

Wow. He's voting with his wallet because he disagrees with the direction that a company seems to be taking. Everyone is free to choose for themselves based on their personal comfort level. How is this selfish and naive?

I just did the same and so did a couple of my friends. Sometimes a zero tolerance, knee-jerk reaction is the best reaction to this sort of thing. I just want to stream music that I want to listen to. That's it. I don't want any so

Yeah, I still like visiting record stores and book stores but I agree with this. For me, Spotify is the best way for me to discover new music. Usually through the thematic aligned playlists or unofficial playlists curated by other users.

Jonathon Blow has a great series [1] on YouTube where he's designing and implementing an alternative to C/C++ specifically aimed at meeting the needs of modern game programmers. It's an interesting watch. [1] https:/&#x

Not necessarily true -- maybe for the X1. However you can get a similarly specced T450s for less than a 13" MBP. I just bought a new laptop and did comparisons between Dell, Lenovo, and MBP. I ended up with a Lenovo T450s (one SSD runn

I really don't understand the AMD driver complaints. I've been running AMD cards off and on for years (Last 2 cards were AMD, previous one was Nvidia) and I have zero problems with AMD drivers. And Nvidia? There are a large number

Bioware was doing DLC before it was called DLC and long before Bethesda. Google Neverwinter Nights premium modules.

I think MS research has been working on this for years. I watched a video a while back about them doing this sort of thing in their labs.

I understand. I'm not expecting this to have the story depth of a single player RPG. I'm expecting more of a sandbox MMO like Ultima Online or Starwars Galaxies (pre NG).

I backed Torment and Project Eternity but I'm also backing this. I spent a good chunk of the 90s immersed in games by Origin and I'm now interested in seeing what Garriott can do without the shackles of a publisher (EA, back in the day).

Yeah, I'm surprised the Torment KS didn't appear on HN after it ended up being the fastest KS to hit 1 million (8 hours).

A while back my team switched to from an internal SVN system to BitBucket. We're now buying into the Atlassian OnDemand platform so it was definitely #2 for us.

This site is a bit old now (not sure if it's kept up to date) but I found it helpful when I first started playing with Clojure several years ago (wow...that long already)? http://java.ociweb.com/mark/clojure/article.html

The non chiclet ones are still great. Perhaps not as good as the IBM ThinkPads but I think they're still better than anything the competition offers.
