No, it's not your computer if you run Windows on it. The only way for you to get control over your computer is to run Linux, and today that's very easy.

People are being silenced on all these platforms for all kinds of reasons. I think we are pretty much lost. People don't understand the impotence of not being censored and they applaude censorship when it agrees with their views.

Always so many negative comments about Firefox. I still use it as my main browser, it's awesome. But people value imaginary speed over privacy. It's been like that for many years now.

I love this article because it describes everything that is wrong with recruiting today. The quote from the matrix is suitable to all these recruiters... "how about I give you the finger..."

No a vpn gives you an ip number in the country where the vpn provider has servers. Makes it appear as if you are accessing the internet from that country. I don't have moral issues with it whatsoever.

Specially today, all Netflix "documentaries" seems more like propaganda. I can't see any value in watching them.

You would pay them? Paying Microsoft to not put garbage in your operating system is like paying the mafia to not break your shop windows.

Yes. Women are awesome in tech, and the field needs much more of them. But the mass media portraying her as a rebel for coloring her hair, that's like... Tabloid stuff.

Australia really went off the deep end now in 2021. Horrible mentality with cops who refuse to give their names going around knocking on doors asking if people know about protests being formed. What the actual fuck.
