You can't outsource your custom DevOps for that amount of money but switching to Heroku or another PAAS might be a cost effective option.

This is solvable in 3 minutes with no programming knowledge for probably less than you'd pay to host it yourself: http://www.backblaze.com/ for $4/month you don't even have to think about it.

You could say the same thing about email. By that logic why would they bother with gmail? I can't believe that google doesn't build ebay because systems with spam are somehow evil. There are low quality goods for sale definitely but there

I'm all for no arbitrary marketing delays for episodes. I'd rather rave about an excellent series I enjoyed on my own time.

I wish the link went straight to this github page. In my experience wikis haven't been worth opening to get an overview of the product. Thanks for the link though.

The only features I need an email client to have is extreme speed and nice search. No desktop clients for mac have both right now. This isn't fast enough but i'll keep it installed and check for updates in a month.

Cool for motivation but it's also really nice to have conversations about features before implementing them so you can flesh out the idea and bounce it off someone else.

I'd use something like this if it was built by apple but I can style apps quickly enough as is without going out of my way to implement this. As others have mentioned it's not really a "drop-in solution" and it doesn't look to be much faste

I've never heard anything about Elon Musk that indicates he speaks lightly about things like this. He has an amazing track record and a habit of taking on huge problems. There is no reason to think that he's not working on a hyper loop.
