Not now, but in the future. Nobody thought we could fit desktop-class graphics cards into slim laptops, but that's a reality today. Though drones will probably go for custom chips.

But Nvidia's proprietary driver is a download right? Why is AMD trying to merge theirs into the kernel?

I remember teaching a 9 year old how to code. He was pretty comfortable in Scratch and he understood the basics like loops, conditionals, variables. He was able to program simple graphical Scratch games with minimal assistance (e.g. rock pa

There was literally a post about this on HN yesterday [0]. I'll accept that people using Linux are better at computers. But Windows is too broad in terms of user skill. [0]: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=13111768

Living in Hong Kong, I don't quite understand why we're at the top of the list, given the prevalence of e-payment and the fact that most of the wealth here lies in property and finance.

It's crazy, but that's actually the typical price of a single space in Hong Kong. A single space here sold for 620k last month.

For 1 parking spot There was a spot that went for 620k earlier: http://www.scmp.com/property/hong-kong-china/article/2040679... It should be noted that car ownership is much lower here though.

Parking shouldn't be free. If it's to entice customers at a store/shopping mall, they can be provided an hour of parking for every x dollars spent. Under-utilised parking spots should be leased or sold. (They sell for 80-300k
