Weird request. I really wanted to do this for the longest time, but waited hoping that the price will one day go down. This is exactly in my budget range, but I don't get paid (and have to deposit to my online usage only bank account) till

I have used Notational Velocity, I like it, but I absolutely love Taskpaper. I have used almost every single task-manager you could possible think of, but taskpaper for mac is the only one I found to be no-nonsense and intuitive. Mac only.

Its fine. But that wasn't my point. You specifically target Diaspora related stories to plug appleseed. To me that seems like bad form. IMO YMMV

I am not a big fan of Diaspora, but every-time there is a story on diaspora I have seen you plug Appleseed and sometimes badmouth Diaspora. First few times it was ok, not it just feels like spamming. Just because its open source, doesn't me

Question. I haven't used a Printer for a while so I don't know much about printers, but wasn't it possible to print from wi-fi for quite some time now? Or is it really a "next-generation print architecture" as Apple like to call it.

The problem is you are relying on TechCrunch for tech punditry. Techcrunch is one of those tech blogs that has very little knowledge about technology.

Most of "Show HN" posts are also plain ads and promotion. I think most HN users are ok with self-promotion as long as its from the "in-crowd" or YC funded. Just pointing out the obvious, I have no feelings towards it one way or another.

Chrome adblockers don't block ads, they "hide ads", unlike FF Adblock. So the ads are still loaded, but you don't get the visual clutter (I guess that the point of most adblockers), on Firefox, ABP will stop ads from loading in the first pl
