One of the issue that comes up with this type of discussion about low pay to workers on developing worlds like China, India, Bangladesh (recently you might have heard some news about it in the media). I am in Bangladesh, while I agree that

I have gmail, yahoo and hotmail (outlook?) accounts. I use gmail for main account and like you I used to use the other two for filtering spam. I have recently logged in to my yahoo and hotmail account to see if anything changed or new happe

If you going to think up worse case scenarios then I could think of few for gas-powered cars too. You can't be always prepared for every highly unlikely corner cases.

Is this really such a hard problem to solve? Something like littleutils can easily solve this, no? http://littleutils.sourceforge.net/ Also what does this has to do with being "graphics card for the entire internet"?

At this point I don't think they are trying to compete with google or anyone in particular. I think right now they are just trying to be relevant and not be just a lost cause. I think I am one of the few who actually wants Yahoo to be a suc

I am in SE Asia, its a WiMax connection. The rest of the internet works as it supposed to. The problem I am referring to (not loading completely and sometimes loading completely but not showing all the entries of a page) doesn't happen all

I have experienced the same problem. It happens randomly to random pages and not all of them are high profile pages. I would chalk it up to it being a bug.

Interesting. So I re-installed HN2 to see if I can recreate your problem, I couldn't. It works fine. And it works fine under chrome too. I also tried the Android stock browser, works fine too. I am using SG-S3 for what its worth. Most likel

Here in bangladesh (I think to some extend in india too) CNG is being extensively used for the last 5-6 years. We have more CNG station than mobile stations here. The price used to be 1/3rd of mobile but because of CNG shortage it has gone

Highly unlikely. Wordpress is the opposite of simplicity, its highly configurable and thats (one of the reasons) why its so widely used. HN or hacker community is a very small community and its hardly the microcosm of the internet.

I don't think its fair to compare Yahoo! under different CEO. They all had different goals and roadmap. The current Yahoo seems to be going towards another direction than its immediate predecessors.

How is this relevant? Different era. Different CEO. Different corporate culture. Different demography. Different way people use the internet. Vastly different size of users. Tumblr could very well die on its own without anyone's help. Last
