Fine, but those people are not going to be getting another loan any time soon.

You can get a nice two bedroom 20 minutes from downtown Austin for ~$600k. You can get in on the ground floor and be part of the NIMBY block in 15 years when nobody can afford to live here anymore! :)

My parents are divorced and both moved to separate cities away from the coast when they retired (Mom went to Illinois, Dad's in the Cascade Mountains). The move hasn't been terribly good or bad for either of them (although my dad

It's also display quality. If you're doing design work you can use a MacBook pro and be pretty sure that the color is accurate with no calibration. If you switch platforms you have to sort out the enterprise and gaming displays, w

Seriously? It was $6000 a month ago... to me this is firmly in the fucking crazy stage. It feels a lot like the last run up to $1,100 before the 80% drop (I cashed out at $1,000 just before the pop by dumb luck, but failed to buy back in).

Apparently you have to have the password field focused before you submit. Anything in the password field (including nothing) will be saved as the root password.

That was my first thought. Based on some bounty reports I've seen recently I would assume at least high five figures.

How is market overvaluation calculated? And is public debt an absolute measure or is it relative to another indicator?

Ah, yeah I was thinking more generally than VR. The R&D efforts at Oculus to reduce latency from GPU to viewport indicate that network rendering isn't going to work unless you anticipate and buffer the set of every frame the user c

I think this is one of those things that nobody expects that will be obvious in hindsight. Offloading rendering and game logic/AI to a massively parallel server network will allow MMOGs to break new ground in world complexity and persi

I'm under the impression that it works like this: I make $100,000 this year, donate $20,000 to charity, pay taxes on $80,000 in income. Is this not accurate? My understanding is that it can save you money if you're just over the b

Just to clarify, you're saying that Vyvanse doesn't have the potentially neurotoxic effects that Adderall has? My doctor prescribed me Vyvanse and anecdotally it seems to be the preferred treatment for ADD these days.

You're getting downvoted but when I do psychedelics I take a small dose of opiates to ensure it doesn't spiral into fear and paranoia. If the goal of theraputic use of psychedelics is to create a deeply seated positive experience,

Sorry to go OT, but ten years ago we needed five guys and a truck to move my friend's $2000 55" rear-projection TV. It weighed as much as a small piano and we almost dropped it off the deck. I just got a 55" 4k LED TV for $40
