You said "like" SAP, not SAP only, so let me suggest Cobol. It's a language we rarely hear about but it is an exotic niche that could also pay well. Well, this is just an idea, I'm not an expert on Cobol.

This is a bit surprising to me. Based on my gut I assumed that if a group has a sufficient probability of producing individuals with "broken selfishness" then the group has a higher fitness to survive, especially if some evolution

That makes it even more interesting, I mean the fact that this or something similar didn't get traction. I often have an idea of what I would like to know about my repo, but don't want to start hacking the answer together.

It's quite shocking that even technical people think AI is "a" thing, and will "come" at a certain time.

Don't connect cars to the Internet? I can't believe companies like GM do it. They recently had huge problems with ignition keys, but I guess they are confident that putting cars online will be OK without hiccups.

RethinkDB was simply too good to be true. I've been reading Slavas defmacro.org probably since he started writing it, and was watching where he will end up. It was no disappointment that he created this with his cofounders, and while I

I will continue to read autobiographies. Every single person on earth is writing her own autobiography, either on paper on in her head. I am writing my own and it is greatly entertaining and educational how others go about it.

I think a typical oil company/country does not keep Tesla high on the agenda. They probably worry about Russia, policy changes of USA, wars around them and global economic stability. Tesla started - or contributed a lot to - a revoluti

While his novels are great, to know Eco you need to read his essays, columns and dialogues with e.g. the archbishop of Milan. His warmth and love is unforgettable.
