Based on the general availability of 10gbit on consumer-priced hardware, I wonder if we'll actually get past 10gbit over the next 20 years. Hell, even 2.5 is only _just_ starting to pop up and usually results in only a couple ports on

Boards with number pads on the left are called south paws. I'm a lefty and I've always thought the numpad is in a more convenient location on the right, but what do I know.

You are correct, that being said there are a few "Steam Emulators" out there (of varying levels of shadiness) and Valve hasn't tried to take them down. It seems like they rely on "the ecosystem" as some sort of DRM

"Hacking" like this is such an important skill that someone can develop. I've been working a lot with getting older games to run on modern Windows, and a good chunk of my time has been spent in a hex editor. The other day for

A friend and I run an in-person LAN party with about ~20 seats. We play generally older games that existed in a time before Steam. I wasn't happy with manually loading GOG installs onto a machine and often times duplicating or imaging

I would question how many people this actually affects, but who knows, I'm also in the "Just use Windows 11" camp.

I'd argue that it's unavoidable. These glyphs are meant for communicating to humans. Trying to reduce it removes the human element out of it, which can remove concepts like intent and context.

It's wild to me that they still offer the Mega 2560 Rev3 for nearly $50 with a USB-B port.

I have a problem identifying what hole tablets have filled, or even what devices they've truly replaced. When the iPad was released, many outlets were making silly claims like laptops will be gone within 5-10 years. The touchscreen sma

I'd also say this. The technical aspect of a game compared to the actual game design is a very different sort of problem. Specifically with Minecraft you could design a game using mods like Create. For inspiration I would point to the
