It'd be nice if there were a way for me to contribute directly to a film as if I had bought a ticket or something. I watch a lot of film, and I absolutely would pay after watching many of them. Oftentimes I also find myself at the end

Game devs are notoriously bad at integrating outside of the game loop. There's also the issue that there's over 15 years of games that support achievements and most of them will never be updated to a new API. The Steamworks API ha

This is why I recommend people look into Statamic. It's absolutely smaller than WordPress, but it's set up for the professional community so there is an environment of plugins, themes, etc. It's also built on top of a Laravel

Is it really absolutely unacceptable? This is not like ye olden days where you'd buy a Compaq and it comes preloaded with actual trashware. The only things preinstalled that I would consider ads are shortcuts to apps like Spotify, Face

Okay, sure, but I actually like using my devices. On 11 the only things I would consider "ads" are the shortcuts to stuff like Facebook and Spotify.

I quite like Windows 11, and to me it feels like the most uniform and stable version of Windows thus far. The claims of it being bloated with ads surprises me, because it has less ads on a fresh install than Windows 10 and most Android phon

Fond memories. I was a teen and gifted a laptop that had USB ports, a floppy drive, and no working CD drive. I used Plop on a floppy to boot off USB and install Windows XP.

The argument is that platforms like Steam encourage developers to implement vendor lock in features. It's something that's more likely to happen with something like software vs standard media like music.

How about games that require an account in order to play at all? It's not a new concept and has been around for at least 15 years. Additionally, by modern games relying on matchmaking and lobby systems, almost any multiplayer game over

Also worth noting that PowerShell is completely independent from Windows now. Not only can you install it in almost every other platform, since it's .NET you can embed the runtime in any .NET application. It's incredibly powerful.

VS2022 is actually pretty damn slick. I use it on the daily and it's much more stable than any previous version. It's still not as fast as a text editor (I _do_ miss Sublime's efficiency), but even going back to 2019 is extre

I'd honestly give 11 a valid shot, probably with 11 Pro. It's by far my favorite version of the OS over the years, and I've been a user since 3.11 days. These days, Windows 10 feels old to me. It does take a bit of customizat
