It is entirely possible. Being a marketplace their software sends coins around for all sorts of reason, this is what was hacked. Someone's personal bit coins are not at risk.

The "hack" would involve withdrawing money, changing the hash of the transaction and then complaining that the transaction didn't go through. This was done through the support channels on Mt. Gox etc but technically could hav

I would guess that if they had another way to access your iCloud calendar from their servers they would. Apple unfortunately has everything linked to a single account without any sort of Oauth. This is more an issue with iCloud than it is w

This is a cool side effect of GPU mining, this is all commodity hardware. In a year or less miners will need to upgrade their GPUs and will be selling their old GPUs. Gamers can then buy them up for cheap. With ASIC Bitcoin miners the hardw

For storing $40 or so (like cash in a wallet) iOS's keychain should be plenty secure. For larger amounts the Coinbase method seems pretty good. They don't have to trust the device.

I've been thinking about this for a while. It seems almost impossibly easy and yet no one has really done it. Maybe it's because the consumer startup crowd and the data science crowd don't overlap enough. If http://

This kinda sucks BUT I would take it over any Intuit API any day. They have a simple REST API that works exactly like you would expect. I assume if I really need more than 1000 calls a day I could probably contact them and get it raised.
