C and Pascal still don't have TCO. But you still need some recursion and C and Pascal can do that.

That might actually be a benefit as most public code say in C++ is not good code. If the pool is smaller but from say experienced programmers then the number of errors might be less. I can see that for Ada however most Haskell is probably w

Why should it not. The easier case for me to defend is XDG_CACHE_HOME - if it defaults to ~/.Library/Caches then it makes life simpler on macOS as it means that you don't have to add other directories to be removed from your

So set it to ~/Library/Preferences and no one should be complaining - Apple see configs in the correct place and XDG see it correct as well. So why is there a problem?

the XDG_CONFIG_HOME should point to ~/Library/Preferences. The issue is that often everyone assumes that XDG_CONFIG_HOME is ~/.config The idea of having a variable is that it could be anywhere,

In the UK at least subways under roads have gone out of fashion I think mainly as they get used by homeless as shelters and urinals. SO we get more road level light operated crossings. as for footbridges they were uncommon in towns at least

But for the OP it is not as it does not give a temperature in their preferred units and probably USDA gives the wrong temperature in their locality.

The link quoted does not have that text so what are you on about? However that site gives the temperature for Pork as 71C which is not what USDA says but is correct. So using the USDA recommendation does have a risk according to at least Ca

Kagi sort of gets this correct. Kagi search gives the pork board first as well. But note that site fails mtkd's requirements giving temperature in degrees Fahrenheit and not Celsius. The second hit does give a correct temperature but h
