I found this site very difficult to read and I had to give up as it was hurting – the font is unreadable. As for syntax highlighting – I don't like it either. I use themes that change colour according to their nesting level.

Wht do you mean by some surely it is all who think he is non English, The Angles – ancestors of the English were the people whom he was fighting against. Now was Arthur Roman or Celtic or Welsh etc is up to debate.

Pascal in 1984 was not just a teaching language. The ranking then was due to Turbo Pascal which came out in November 1983. It was probaly the first IDE and compiler on PCs

In London that is difficult – there is not a lot of space. Plus the idea of having everything within a 15 minute walk including access to public transport.

Turbo Pascal had been replaced in 1995 by Delphi. When they dropped the Borland name they increased the price to Enterprise levels and so not $99 anymore
