Anyone can edit any answer (unless it is specifically locked which is uncommon) For new users the edit does have to get approved by 3 other users to give some check on vandalisim. Thus answers are wikis.

Why is everything is a file a file correct? It makes some things easier but it is not the only way - so this does need to be justified.

From the comments on this answer https://meta.stackexchange.com/a/391625/136010 it is suggested and agreed by staff that the chnage in May 2022 was the role out of a proper cookie consent form. If you don"t h

I agree but sometimes the answer exactly as asked leads to wrong things. So sometimes you don"t provide the answer to the exact question but include the reason why the exact question is not good. This gives the option for the questione

I now only use a smaller sites and you just mark these to be reopened. The issue is that all users are moderators and the newcomers are the ones not reading questions etc. I would flag this sort of thing for a real moderator.

ChatGPT is not in anyway better than SO - no see the current moderation strike. Both sides can identify ChatGPT answers as being wrong. The question is how can they be deleted. The moderators say they can delete a lot by manual inspection.

I find lisp much nicer to read than most languages. C/Java etc (which I was a professional in) have too many bits to the syntax - braces and semi-colons and the execution is not necessarily shown by the format. I also like python for s
