Out of interest, what was your disability that caused you to need mid day naps?

We have a different culture in the UK, no one will confront you for using the disabled spot even if you look fully able bodied. They announce in supermarkets "some people have an invisible disability and are not able to wear a mask&quo

On first take I thought this was satire. Looks like one of those fake mockups of new Apple products.

It's important to remember that SARS was a lot more deadly that COVID-19. I am not at all surprised such a high percentage of people suffered long term lung damage given how virulent it was. Case fatality was somewhere around 10%.

This is good to know. I always thought it meant 10x average which seemed absurd. I can certainly attest to having worked on teams where there are one or two developers 10x better than the worst developers on the team. Tbh I think the worst

Sounds kind of dismissive and passive aggressive. The architecture suggested in the article is terrible but I think the way to respond to it is to explain why it's terrible from a security standpoint and then also a maintenance standpo

If you use React Native, React and a shared Redux layer you can share all this business logic between iOS, Android and Web. If you make breaking DB changes you still have the REST layer to buffer them. If REST won't cover your breaking

I find the soft gel ones don't do me any good. I do better with the hard pill type and even better with topical cream. I think it's something to do with the cheap vegetable oil they are packed in.

Nice, I currently use knex.js with Objection which provides the active record like API on top. You still have to write the migrations in knex but to be honest I prefer it that way because it gives you more control so if you ever do need to

Anyone looking for a cheap morning light box should consider a grow lamp. They are designed for plants but they work pretty well for humans too. You get a lot more power per dollar than the human ones which are usually at the bottom end of
