I think my issue is more with navigation than style. Like Seeing the whole thread tree inline would be nicer no, even for the folks who still want the plain text feel?

I don’t disagree but that is the exact purpose of forum software: voting, spam detection, etc. The fact that 99.999% of HN users had no idea these posts were made (most have no votes) shows it’s working correctly. On the other hand, to a la

If you can only confront someone using a throwaway account, you’re probably being unnecessarily mean. Glad they’re trying to get word out there on what they’re working on. Let the voting do the voting. Thank for your OS work OP, upvote fr

There’s also a generics implementation on a branch of the go repo. I’m most curious how they perform on compilation speed assuming a big project makes decent use of generics. I doubt golang would merge anything that causes significant slowd

Yeah. Switch array & args disable the shell. I hope they’re not running that locally as the download script suggests. But then you still have a bunch of other security issues. Shrug.

This looks great. I wish python would have made the event loop generally more transparent to the end user. Why didn't they just use a single global loop? Sorta like javascript and golang. It would have been more pythonic too. Anyone do

Anyone have any recs for a pulse oximeter you can hack on? I’ve been looking for one that wouldn’t be too difficult to connect to. I could barely find any of the old ones let a lone something that looks like it can be borderline portable.
