s/solution/workaround Text reflow was/is a killer feature of the original Android browser (which cyanogenmod still uses, fortunately). Reading the HN front page is a PITA without it.

Hear, hear. I long for the day that lein and cljs tooling can replace bower/npm/grunt/gulp entirely. And I came to Clojure(Script) from JS, not Java, still have no clue what maven or pom.XML even means, but lein obviates all

I've used this phone and the lack of dual-band wifi causes some issues with wifi-connectivity. Its range is less than my Nexus 4 and it will sporadically lose connectivity over wifi, more often than other Android devices I've used

The $179 price is total bullshit. In Brazil, where the phone was actually launched (and being produced), the price is US$279 (8GB) and US$343 (16GB). Not that I, as a Brazilian consumer, am not used to getting dicked on hardware prices for

Not bad, but 'Just Another Ikea Catalog' (look it up on the wayback machine) is still the Ikea-related humor high water mark.

Code organization question: is this a common convention in Go, to nest the main package in a subdirectory and put all of the 'modules' in different files but with the same package name? (I'm more used to the Clojure namespace

Exactly, this is the big issue that is never mentioned in the Forbes article nor the BT Sync docs. Maybe it's obvious in hindsight, but since they're comparing it to Dropbox and all... However with the daemon running on a Linode instance or

There is also the possibility of using and wrapping the Apache Cordova (phonegap) API from ClojureScript. Trade-offs galore there, but one advantage is faster (still not comparable with native) startup time.

i moved on from ubuntu a while back but, watching the promo video, i couldn't help but thinking mark shuttleworth is, pardon the cliche, something like the new steve jobs. he's got charisma, big ideas, and he's savvy enough to market them.
