Congrats! Diffbot offers very compelling technology. Incidentally, the infographic you created was gorgeous. Do you mind sharing who you used to create it?

i'm not sure we're in disagreement. names matter and warrant attention. the less direct your name (e.g., amazon), the more you need to invest in marketing and educating consumers about your company/product. the macro point, which i suspect

My comment aside, you are right to question if it's the wisest investment for Amazon to make a phone. Could they form strategic partnerships instead, paying handset manufacturers to install Amazon media marketplaces like Google did with Del

The reason for Amazon to build a phone is for distribution of digital content. As Apple proved with the iPod and then the iPhone, the device is the distributor. Music, movies, video, books, and apps are all multi-billion dollar industries.

one reason we use JQM is for page transitions. what other frameworks provide page transitions? we could obviously roll our own, but are just curious what the other options are. zepto and XUI are two alternatives to JQM mentioned in the arti

Sorry if this question was already asked elsewhere, but how much roughly will FourSquare save with OpenStreetMap? Obviously cost is a critical factor driving this decision, and it would be great to know how much the delta is exactly. Thanks

If Netflix decides it needs to source content, instead of only distributing it, then Yahoo has enviable assets: millions of users, deep advertiser relationships, and some homegrown content like Yahoo Autos (though no premium content). Yahoo

First, the board should decide: media company or tech company. If Yahoo! is a media company -- which is more conservative since its peers would be AOL, Viacom, et al., and not Google, Facebook, et al. -- then merge/acquire Netflix ($11.5B m
