Because you can use Terraform not only for infrastructure. In our case, we use it also to setup GitLab and other services.

Unrelated, but they recent change of the free tier, from sits to resources, made me switch to self managed backend. I might be far from the 500 resources limit but I can't avoid seeing it as a Damocles sword on my infra :)

This is not a joke, I am really asking: how do you measure the accuracy of an air quality monitor? Comparing it to another monitor? Creating an air pollution condition and seeing how close to that is the measurement?

Weirdly enough, some people I know are still are afraid of it. I can't really know why but they distrust change.

From time to time, I happen to browse using someone else's computer (browser) and I get immediately overwhelmed by how crappy the experience is without uBO. Yet, I cannot convince people to install it :)

I don't know how Plane is but I know very well how Jira is and it definitely needs a viable alternative.

I like this Wikipedia article, however, I would have preferred it's contents to be transmitted directly to my brain in real time when I opened Hacker News. That would have been so much better.

Regarding metrics from logs, you might agree that it's now an overkill.

Because I use as a gateway for fastcgi and as TLS initiator, mostly. Nginx doesn't allow you to have distinct metrics for both use cases, which is far from ideal. My tests in controlled environments show that caddy is absolutely fine f

I just wish Nginx had the good will to include decent metrics. The built-in stubs are far from enough. It's the main reason why I'm thinking about migrating everything to Caddy.

Damn, I was reading this hoping it was the page of the ultimate browser/mobile app or extension... How did we get so far without having all this by default?

My main issue with TOML is precisely described in the homepage example: [servers] [servers.alpha] is error prone. An sub heading shouldn't need to know about its parent, much less to have to copy it entirely.

I agree 100%, but here's a plot twist: - Don't fall in the trap of early abstraction... - and abstracting one single use case is very hard, if not impossible... - but you are writing your app in Go and interfaces are the only way
