There used to be (~20years ago) a catscan website where people posted images of their cats as taken with flatbed scanners (when those were a thing). It wasn't uncontroversial. One of my favorites was a color scan taken in multiple pass

Just reading a little more, the aforementioned guide was published in 1993, so that explains the black and white photographs somewhat.

Yeah the field identification guide cited [1] is better, although disappointingly monochrome [1] https://www.jstor.org/stable/25616219

This feels like a surprisingly obvious idea Printmakers sometimes float a layer of water on top of partially used ink to stop it polymerizing. I suspect that floating a layer of oil on top of wine might have some undesirable side effects

Apart from echoing other comments that this appears to be vaporware, it's also a little odd to use the sharp suffix on a language that doesn't target the CLR. I mean obviously Microsoft doesn't own the character, but after 20

European Rabbits are native to the iberian peninsula and southern France, they were introduced to the British Isles either by the Romans or the Normans. There's more information about this on the Wikipedia article https://en

I absolutely don't mean rural areas, I mean medium density urban communities with very low levels of street lighting, which is great from a light pollution perspective, but less good from a bootstrapping a charging infrastructure persp

Lynx are native to Scotland, I don't believe that rabbits are, they are usually considered to have been introduced by the Normans in the 12th century. According to the wikipedia article the lynx appears to have a pretty varied diet

I mostly hear the "cuttle" variant, but with the t/d ambiguity of a lot of american pronunciation it sounds more like "cuddle" to me, and I like that

Even better some of the early printers (e.g. IBM 1132) had a wheel for every character position, all on a common axle, so you told the printer which character you wanted, then set bit fields in memory for which positions to strike, then wai

I lived in the UK during the vCJD panic (colloquially mad cow disease), this bars me from giving blood or being an organ donor. For a sense of scale a total of 177 people have died of vCJD, out of a UK population of approx 60,000,000
