Let's be real. Google would not hesitate to sell G-suite/Google Docs to the Pentagon and any US military ally in the world. How many orders or strategy doctrines are delivered via e-mail/spreadsheets?

How is U2F considered legacy already? It's still fairly the most modern way for a 2nd factor. WebAuthn just came outmonths ag and most of the Yubikeys - as well as apps/sites/services -- don't support it.

Carbon Black and Crowdstrike were traditionally EDR platforms. Crowdstrike had no AV capabilities until last year. They have now morphed into the EPP category as per Gartner. They are a now a suite of tools, where AV is just a single part o

"Nextgen"AV would not have caught this. AV is still AV and looking at executables and binaries. Exploiting a vulnerability does not fit that bill. This incident had nothing to do with a 'virus'. Now many tools that inclu

Office365 is great, but, time to de-couple it from "Cloud". The funny thing is that when someone launches a windows server on AWS, MS counts that license towards their Cloud Revenue!

I have yet to read solid case studies of real multi-cloud at scale. E.g. Active-Active load-balanced between multiple providers. Plenty of companies use multiple clouds, but, it tends to be a line of business decision. Team A likes AWS, Tea

I've known plenty of people that have left Google/FB/Apple for Amazon. And I know plenty of people who have left Amazon for Google/FB/Apple. The biggest tech companies are quite incestuous. Some people do thrive in

Amazon accounts for 4% of ALL retail sales. Where are the calls about Walmart? I think we have to see the bigger picture. Growth, momentum, and investments should be a good thing. Dominance is not illegal. Nor technically is a monopoly. Usi

It's $4 per 1-million API calls processed. And starts at $1 per GB of logs processed. Which pricing dimension is of concern?

I found the pricing for Guard Duty reasonable compared to most IDS systems. They let you turn on GuardDuty for free for 30 days and give you an estimate your bill so that helps.
