This is the real answer. I personally like tabs. But I will absolutely not stand for anyone using tabs on our code-base. Because we use spaces, and we have better things to do that debate or, or reformat the whole code base. (even though we

Semantically: tabs are simply correct. They encode actual meaning. Rather than merely presentation. They also win on accessibility, because someoen with visual difficulties can adjust their editor to display them as larger or smaller. The c

I don't think that is the case. Sure Perl may have been in decline for ages, but people were not comparing Perl to Python for that long. Simply because python hasn't existed that long. Python 2.0 was released in 2000. Python 1.0 w

Trying to think of others. Kotlin was 2011, and is JetBrains. JetBrain's is 1500 people. So big, but not giant. Rust is 2013 Mozilla is only 750 people So perhaps Major Tech Giant is over-stating it. But definately most other things in

Urg that website is so incredibly out of date. Julia has amazing things for autodiff. But like not the things listed on that website. Also python is still doing great with Jax and PyTorch.

Spotify is not a particularly nice tool to listen to podcasts in to begin with. AFAIK they haven't done anything to make podcasts different from music except section them off. Nothing in it makes it good for podcasts, I am not sure it

Jax is awesome. But supporting most of numpy isn't enough. Because numpy isn't composable. You want to add banded-block-banded matrices to numpy? Then you need to fork numpy (or in this case fork jax); this is a package in julia

It's just a very nice coding font. Tons of OpenType features like alternatives etc. But it's doesn't go to excess with ligatures. It has huge unicode coverage. The letter shapes are nice. It's just good.

That's weird using libraries almost always just works? Did you install them via the package manager? If you just git clones them then you will need to tell the package manager about them e.g. via `add`/`dev`ing the local path, + `
