Interesting. Also, Mastodon threads seem to be much easier to follow that Twitter... Twitter feels like a confusing mess of replies in any order. I could be wrong, but this felt much more ordered, and therefore made more sense to me. Edit:

Don't eat after 8pm till 8am. Eat till your stomach is satisfied, not your tongue. To prevent cravings, don't restrict yourself any food, but eat everything in moderation.

The yard sale model encapsulates a lot of what you said above. This interactive website does a good job of explaining the model itself: https://pudding.cool/2022/12/yard-sale/

Ah, got it! Yes, for IK, they could probably even look at Blender's source code for a very good starting point...

Not sure exactly what the OP was getting at, but it might be a dig at Windows and the random junk it keeps popping up now and again (news updates and whatnot).

I really enjoy the Linux lightweight desktop environments. Not as whizzy as some of the heavyweight environments, but so much more usable and functional, in my opinion. I am personally a fan of LXDE. It just gets out of my way and lets me d

I actually think this is a very good analysis. A lot of Tesla vehicles feel like they value form over function. What really was interesting for me, was the fact that electric trucks from more established players exist already, but haven

I accept PHP has flaws, as do other languages. But I feel PHP gets an unfair amount of criticism, given that it's "flawed" implementation of a programming language happens to run a big chunk of the web today. > Progress is

The thing is, I've seen sloppy, hacked-together code in finance, in a variety of languages, including Java and C, where the barrier to entry is relatively high, and the language fairly strict. You just don't hear about the coding

The truth is, no language is perfect. PHP just happens to be good at getting stuff done fast, so it's found all over the place, and thus has a lot of eyeballs on it. The negativity is a byproduct of it's usefulness and staying pow

I would say HAProxy is a better load balancer, than a web server. I like to have a few NGINX instances as the actual web servers sitting behind a HAProxy instance that spreads load across them.
