I was a regular user of Facebook, now I'm not. I never used Instagram, but I can see that becoming as tedious as Facebook for people who do. I use WhatsApp every 5 minutes, but I don't think Facebook monetises it yet to any large

In w3schools, "Definition and Usage" starts referring to "start" and "end" parameters before even mentioning them. It's really quite annoying to read that first and then see the syntax...

I find w3schools dumbs it down a bit too much in certain cases and sort of gets in the way of finding the info you want. Compare https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/jsref_substring.asp with https://developer.moz

Depends on your definition of fine. In certain cases it would crash browsers on load, in other cases it would deliver a solid 60fps. I think 3d on the web does need a bit more polish so that it's a good experience universally.

I feel high quality 3D is one of the final things that we need to master in the browser. Once this is done, I can imagine PWAs get more widespread adoption for gaming and AR etc. Kudos to the good people working on it!

Are you saying that they're wrong? Because they're not - the maths is black and white. People have a tendency to trade in and out of securities because they feel it will give them an edge over the market, but in reality, most peop

You underestimate developers; they can make it work without JS if they have to. But why should we constrain ourselves?! I mean, there is nothing wrong with JS when used properly. In fact, JS is extremely useful in the browser. It adds to th

I know this will be unpopular, but after a certain point, noscript users just get a bad experience and that can't be helped. If a developer wants to provide a rich experience, then there will always be certain platform requirements. Wi

Dear Google, you have a chance to do so much good! Don't fritter that opportunity away for easy dollars! We know ads are your cash cow currently, but you seriously have enough cash and talent to generate cash flows from less annoying (

I think nothing would happen. I mean, the stock market would dip a little, possibly, but people would simply adjust their lives with no real problems. Thankfully Facebook remains a tool of whimsy for most people, not one of necessity. There

Well, then perhaps they have misunderstood their own needs. If they want to be "the" central party, why can't they just do this with a simple database, rather than issuing coins and whatnot?

On a high end phone such as yours, it should not be all that surprising that the performance is good! On my low end Samsung J3, it is rather choppy, but I feel it can be improved, given that this animation is lovely and smooth: http:/

Not really. We have scraped many sites successfully that try this randomisation logic. There is always a pattern, which often can be determined via heuristics. It does make things trickier, but not impossible or especially difficult.
