Very cool product. May I ask what size of team it took to develop your MVP?

Interesting. Have you ever used Erlang in production? How did you find it?

No idea, but I doubt it if they're testing with well defined algorithms. I can't imagine the tests throwing lots of errors.

I'm a little surprised at where Erlang features in the list. I've never used it personally, but have heard so much about it being an amazing, performant language. I wonder why it's so time/energy/memory inefficient

When politics and egos come into play, even teams of very smart software engineers can end up making silly, seemingly incompetent decisions.

Interesting that they wouldn't just display the number of votes. By using brightness, they transform their method of cheating into something much more difficult to quantify.

"Better" is difficult to measure. I used to think that US elections are a lot less corrupt than Indian elections, thus are probably "better". Now I'm not so sure! The sheer scale of an Indian election is rather rema

Swoole is awesome. We use it in production as does tencent. Documentation needs a bit of work though.

Not really. PHP is not awful. It powers much of the web because it's actually good at its job. What's your programming language of choice? I bet you will find ample, justified criticism of it too.

PHP is a great because it lets you get stuff done. Easy to understand, deploy and extend. Also, with the new reactive frameworks such as swoole, it can even support situations where you need to service a very high number of connections. We

How can the potential breakup of the UK, increased economic uncertainty, increased political uncertainty, and a complete lack of plan yield any good outcomes for the Tories in the mid-to-long term? I mean, it may be popular, short term, but

I think you may be surprised by the outcome. The real question is, do the Tory party want to commit political suicide by administering a no deal brexit, and risk never getting re-elected until the subsequent turmoil subsides? I think not. F

You see this with grown up devs too. Many of them have only ever learnt to code with a full suite of build tools such as web pack, grunt and npm. They seem lost without these things and only a few really know what's going on under the

You not sharing is your prerogative, and that's cool. However, if someone else was to turn up and use that spot; perhaps even "discover" it for themselves, I don't think you should feel any ill will towards them, right?

I assume the older generation would not hesitate to pass on their spot information to their kids or grandkids for free. In a sense, they ARE gatekeeping a resource they probably don't even own. I personally don't think this is fai

I think this just goes to show that maybe the entire Brexit option was not a good one. I mean, why would Theresa May not try and get a good deal - she is trying her level best, powering through defeat after defeat in the house! One could co

Davinci Resolve is good, however rather unstable on Linux in my experience. I've tried it on a couple of distros and kept getting random crashes every so often.

But they probably use the data to target users with Facebook/Instagram ads. If those platforms go south, then what's the data going to be used for?! P.S. I use Signal. Problem is no one else does :p
