Dumb question: wouldn’t this actually reduce ad revenue as you would be eliminating ad fraud for which providing platforms collect money?

Sadly Google domains has been sold off to SquareSpace so depending on your thoughts about then you may want to consider elsewhere.

- Consistent output, less variability due to seasonal concerns like drought. Also output is constant year round. Less concerns about financial instruments (futures) to manage risk. - More water efficiency which is becoming more of a concern

Do you _really_ need a cofounder? Putting someone in your pitch deck who is not 100% committed is going to torpedo getting a term sheet when investors want to meet them.

The secret is having zero users so you make an undefined amount of money per user.

Many time founder here, always in the CTO role. You’re absolutely right, it sucks. It’s near impossible to be good at all those things. In fact, you’re often times expected to run compliance and do sales on top of it all. This is one of the

If you’d enjoy learning a new technology or experimenting with a side project just do it. You don’t need to justify doing something you enjoy, it’ll help prevent you from burning out.

What is philosophy other than applied logic? I welcome people exploring new domains after becoming an expert in one. Often times that’s the impetus they need to find the next cross-cutting innovation.

And before anyone says this is hypothetical: many ISPs have already been caught injecting advertisements, malware and tracking into websites.

Step 1: Get a lot of money. More than you think you’ll need. Step 2: Hire someone great who has done this before to do it again, except better this time.

I think this, like many cases, was a perfect storm of lack of information, good intentions and individual profit mongering. Medical masks have proven overwhelmingly effective in stopping the spread of airborne diseases like COVID. Knit/

I can see the sweet spot for community-driven/social journalism: - Get updates between the new cycles. If you can get the scores for the football match in tomorrow’s paper, why even need to see the game? - Get more targeted information

Never mind, it seems like Bitcode has been disabled awhile ago. It’s been a hot minute since I last did mobile dev. The promise of Bitcode was you’d upload an IR artifact and not the final binary (that held every supported platform). The Ap

The SCP Foundation[1] always gives me fond memories of growing up watching the X-Files and similar shows. Also TV Tropes[2] is fun to learn how derivative or novel aspects of your favorite shows are. 1: https://scp-wiki.wikidot.c

There’s pretty much no reason not to proxy through multiple international jurisdictions to avoid detection. Each hop raises the cost of investigation and delay by an order of magnitude.

I agree with this sentiment but in this case if he’s paying his own salary he’d end up net losing on taxes. If he is going to pay, I’d consider it a loan to the company that will later be paid back with interest to be fair.

Also magnitudes off in accuracy sadly. I’ve known a few groups who’ve tried to reconcile it against actual charges and you might as well just use a random number generator.
