I can confirm this. I opened a distillery during the pandemic and had to pay a middle man during some online sales simply to cover legal requirements. The middle man never even handled the product. Very frustrating way to spend money.

While appeal to consensus is a common logical fallacy, we can make stronger arguments to support government tax software. Tax preparation is 100% deadweight in an economic sense. Nothing useful is created in that time, and yet billions of h

Well, they are kind of failing at their job in a big way, likely costing the company billions of dollars in the process. I don’t feel that bad for them. 5% of other socials in revenue per user is comically bad.

From my experience, there are huge differences between stores in terms of pricing and customer service. The industry is so new that just having your doors open is a license to print money, but it’ll start to standardize once banks are allow

For anyone that has read “The Circle”, this should feel like life imitating art. The antagonist company in that book repeatedly “finds” child pornography on inconvenient people to exert ever-growing control over society.

Stochastic domestic terrorist is not a term I ever expected to read, but it seems very fitting for the “data-driven” (but generally poorly evaluated) future we find ourselves drifting into.

It’s hard to imagine a situation that both removes Taiwan from play and preserves peace in Korea. It’s unfortunate the world’s chip supply is so geopolitically concentrated.

Apple has had the price of their stock drop at least 40% on 3 separate occasions, the most recent of which was 2013. So you are right that they have had a strong run for almost 10 years straight. They do frequently post record profits, and
