In case anyone was looking for the actual text of the bill: https://www.leahy.senate.gov/download/usa-freedom-act_-intro... I'd honestly say this being said so close to the election is playing politics rather than

So you make over $200k a year AND have fun doing it? I'm just asking because that is the only way your comment makes sense. If not, I suggest you re-read. > At one point, a career goal of mine was to "get paid full time to work

Did I say a career goal? No? Maybe y'know, you shouldn't put words in people's mouths and actually read what was written. I'm telling you the way you value/put things is specific to you and a smaller percentage of t

That doesn't work in the real world for most people. At my Day Job, I use Language X with version Y for everything. I use Library Z and T only. Oh, and I can use ancient language B as well but I cannot use any 3rd party code with B. Yo

Ideally, yes. Hence the setting aside $50 million for legal fees and such. :P But I don't think it'll ever cover the full extent of the income without major changes to the political system.

I think from a rational, economic perspective if you make $100 million but spend 5 years in jail [and losing, say, $50 million in legal fees and fines], most people would consider that coming out ahead.

I'm not sure this part is true. You can buy servers and server parts anonymously via places like Craigslist with cash. At which point, you just need a fake ID to trick the Colo and pre-pay them for 12 months in cash w/o being reco
