You shouldn't be downvoted. It's exactly the problem. My main factors are: Replaceable battery, headphone jack, LineageOS (or other custom rom) support. If those are matched the smaller the better - I loved my HP Veer, which I adm

The tests run on the mobile device, or rather mostly the emulator. No API server to interact with (and I would not know why?). The shop uses integration tests for three things: 1. Testing some migrations 2. Click through the app, as part of

Just an additional note: Integration testing was indeed completely broken for a while, with the docs stating otherwise. They reworked it a few releases ago and since then it works well for us (limited usage, but completely stable for what w

Thanks for linking to the site. I just updated it to include the new version. It's called 19.1 in their wiki and I'll just copy that version number for now.

I really like LineageOS, but this is partly on them as well. They are the most popular ROM and they do very little to make this situation easier. With this situation I do not mean the install itself - actually there they do a lot, the docum

That your public function calls private functions is an implementation detail. It does not matter, test the public function. Subsequently that tests the private functions for all relevant input. There was recently a submission here on HN th

For Intel, those are the cheapest of the cheap boards with the very limited H610 chipset. If you want something acceptable you will pay a lot more. AMD on the other hand has cheap good option with B550 or even B450.

Just to give a counterpoint to this, I love Dart. My preferred language is Ruby and Dart certainly is not Ruby. But it also makes me a bit happy when writing it: It's easy to understand and clean enough. The typing system is done well

Agreed. I was thinking that we must have completely missed something (working with flutter right now) to not be aware of those bugs, but looking at them they are minor and have a solution in the issue threads. These are in no way blockers f
