This is the same as most CSS-in-JS solutions though isn't it?You have a theme.js (that comes with a default) that confirms to the theme UI standard that is pretty much what your tailwind.config.js is. Then you can save variants (simila

I keep getting ads on Youtube from some Malaysian guys telling me how they bought cheap Chinese stuff on Alibaba and sold it for like 10x the price on Amazon and how I can really easily get $200,000 USD per month if I follow their 'eas

I'm no expert but another example of a non-monadic implementation would be OCaml's new algebraic effects as part of the Multicore project, right?

Yeah I'm in a similar position. None of the TailwindUI components have the logic built in, it's just the markup so you need to build the components yourself. I like the feel of Adobe Spectrum but it doesn't have exactly all t

Yeah I caught myself almost doing something similar when I wanted to implement some internal tools with a React webapp and a backend server that I was going to write in Go because I wanted to learn Go and it seemed like it would have better

I've seen this on Reddit a fair bit too but there's this sort of anti "10x-er" attitude. It makes logical sense to me that if someone spends more time practising a skill, then they would be more proficient and thus worth

It's much lower hanging fruit than say developing an embedded hardware device that does something novel (and most likely more useful). Why not just aggregate some data about _other_ services and run machine learning.

Same thing happens with Discords I'm in. They just add more and more channels and it becomes a chore to scroll and navigate to the one I want (just my opinion) let alone the reduced engagement in each channel (anecdotal evidence)

I think this is partly why older folks often say something along the lines of "you young people are so /good/ at technology". We've had so much exposure that we've built up a mental model of how even non-intuit

Yeah, ReasonML and ReasonReact are great because you're still writing JSX and not some over-engineered voodoo rewrite of React and/or JS but you get the power of strong types and ADTs and a super fast compiler.
