react-testing-library and Tailwind are two tools that I use that I feel the userbase are a bit cult-like. I don't know if it's "not invented here" syndrome so much as people use tools based on people, not always just mer

It's an easy feel good change that people make to feel like they're such great people, rather than doing things that actually further the cause or help in any way.

That's pretty much what I was thinking of haha. I like watching game devlogs too. None come immediately to mind but I've definitely come across some before on the web. Basically they kind of go "here is my problem, here'

Last time I tried out Ant Design (about two years ago) I also tried out BizCharts, alibabas library for plotting charts. However, I noticed that it was making requests to kcart.alipay.com servers whenever it was loaded in some weird obfusca

I think it has something to do with this current culture of 'personal branding', wherein a lot of content online aimed at beginners says you should be blogging, writing articles, basically telling people how to do the thing you le

I've been building something similar to OP's for my own personal use lately. At the moment I use Raindrop.io as well but the main thing I don't like is (I think because it is a webapp?) switching folders can be very slow, per

There seems to be a hate bandwagon that everyone is jumping on; I've seen it on Reddit for about the last year or two. The one guy who talks about the issues with Atlas being the only platform which gets the latest versions does seem q

Sounds like org-mode or vim-wiki would be up your alley. This appears to be quite similar but with a modern interface and probably better prebaked configs.

Same. I wish everything wasn't so zoomed in so I didn't have to read heaps of large headers and scroll for ages to figure out what exactly it does.

Same here. I was so overwhelmed with the million ways I could accomplish my relatively simple needs that I just gave up on it. Also everything basically bringing up a modal for a new page annoyed me. Maybe it's just my personality type

How do you even define a 'hacker mindset' anyway. It seems too hard to really pin down a definition so I'm not sure it's worth the time anyway.

They have some form of that already as it is, but I'm not 100% sure how it works. Some comment replies have the first few replies and then it shows a 'Show 43 more comments' button to expand that depth level, but some comment

Ah okay that makes sense. I honestly get kind of annoyed when I buy things that aren't labelled as backorders and then get told that even though I paid, they don't have stock. I'm not sure if the OP labels them as such or not

I concur. Iyashikei games are usually (not always; think Animal Crossing) mobile games, and games that really don't require much concentration. They're for de-stressing. https://gameappch.com/rank/category.htm
