Just an anecdote of mine. I'm sure there was plenty of drug use in other provinces but my personal experience was in the Helmand. I try not to talk about other places and units I don't have experience in.

The blockchain contains the data of billions of dollars of transactions. I would say that is very far from meaningless.

It can be done easily. I would say it will be done in the future by governments and forced on us. The amount of control a government would have with a forced cryptocurrency is the only problem I see.

I would say the problem they are trying to solve is security settlement between different institutions. I guess right now each institution has their own database of who owns what and it's difficult to transfer ownership between them. W
