I mean, the problem with charging isn't really the charge times right now. It's the fact that every non-Tesla charger is a piece of shit... and the fact that you need an account on every single different charging company, and some

You can buy aftermarket AA/CarPlay decks for like $250 that are actually pretty decent. Imagine how much cheaper the automakers can build them for...

You mean like the magic reboot you do in Teslas because the infotainment shit crashes in them? I've seen infotainment systems crash in so many cars, and people have to call the dealer to get the fucking Konami code to reboot the system

I'm every state that I am aware of, you can get and ID card that is not a drivers license. So it's not really got anything to do with driving.

All you need to do is sit down for a while with people who aren't in our tech bubble and watch them use their stuff. I used to do on-site tech support for people, and I have seen tons and tons of people constantly click dialog boxes wi

I just had to update the firmware my HF radio using xmodem protocol. Tons of modern ham radio gear still using serial data... even the modern ones that connect to your PC via USB, still just a USB->serial device built in.

Of course this is how they do it. They trick you into installing software for one purpose, and install other shit along with it. This is how spyware has worked for the last 30 years. Did anybody actually go out and install Bonzai Buddy or a

Or maybe it's not a good enough story, and they know most people will not be shocked, and most people will not care, so it's a non story for most people.

If they really gave a shit, then why didn't they just ask for age on sign up? Or require people to enter that information to keep their account open? Why use some hocus pocus shit to try to guess people's ages?

Yeah you wish that would work. All the bad actors will do is steal someone else's credentials. Just like they do now. You still won't figure out who they are. They'll set up networks of fake names, fake friends, fake business

I hope you don't drive a crossover. People get all hatey and ragey about trucks, then go hop in their Rav4 or CR-V as though those aren't bigger, blunter versions of regular cars.

The Delorean looks very clearly 80s though. Low-slung, boxy design, fastback, quad, square headlights... It would not fit in with a modern car lineup, so I'm gonna say it is dated looking. Not that is is bad looking. I love how they lo

If you're lucky, the FCC might send CenturyLink a strongly-worded letter. That's how it went when over 200+ landlines went out in my neighborhood for over two months. My neighbors got $80 taken off their bills though.
